long-running hit television show,
Happy Days, bring the songs of
Sinatra, Darin, Martin, and more to
life through his engaging
interpretations and creative
arrangements. The swing era and 50s
cool are fused together in one very
unique show, delivered with either his
8 piece or 17 piece big band. In
addition to acting and directing,
Don has returned to his first love - singing.

Happy Days and Swanky Southern Nights
Saturday, August 8, Donny Most will appear at
The Mulehouse in downtown Columbia, Tennessee,
as the special guest on a live edition of
“Swanky Southern Nights,” hosted by Makky Kaylor,
writer of Tennessee’s official state-designated song
“Tennessee Troubadour,” and Brenda Lynn Allen.
Billed as “Happy Days and Swanky Southern Nights,”
the evening will blend live music with a talk-show-style
interview and audience Q&A about Most’s career, followed
by a meet-and-greet. Organizers and fans alike are calling
it the ultimate birthday celebration for Most, with the show
doubling as a night of tribute and fun for the star.

I'll be spending the week working with the trombone
students of the John M. Long School of Music at Troy
University the first week of October as Dr. Sulliman
goes on sabbatical to teach brass across Jamaica.

The French Quarter landed in the Gulch and it's a
party on the 1st Thursday every month 9pm at
Rudy's with the Rougarou 6-piece New Orleans
brass band! Nashville's only dedicated brass band
night for New Orleans music.
The six-piece Rougarou Brass Band, led by
Louisianian Brook Sutton on bass and New
Orleans native Chris Walters on piano, and
featuring some of the top musicians in Nashville
bringing a mix of traditional New Orleans Mardi
Gras brass music and New Orleans funk staples
and favorites, drawing on influences such as the
Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Meters, Preservation
Hall, Rebirth Brass Band, Dr. John, etc.
